Hybrid and electric vehicle lease deals are getting closer and closer in price, regardless of the actual price tag. We're always pleasantly surprised by the abundance of lease deals for battery-powered cars, so before you think it's all too expensive, scroll down. Speed, style and low fuel costs can be yours in a single vehicle.

Read our leasing Guide

Be sure to read our leasing guide first . We've covered everything that could be missed on the showroom floor: promotional fees, financial factors, residual values, legal implications, and all the other fine print that could cost you thousands more than you'd expect. When comparing similar cars, keep in mind that a lower monthly price often requires more money up front. As with any national leasing special, enter your zip code on a car manufacturer's website to see if these deals apply to your area. Prices do not include taxes or fees and may be higher or lower depending on your location. Research is always your friend.

BMW i4 (2024)

$529 per month / $5,729 at signing,
36 months/30,000 miles

You wouldn't want to lease our BMW i4 long-term—we hit a deer that caused $17,000 in damage —but you can buy a nearly identical i4 xDrive40 fresh from your local dealer. The i4 is a 2023 10Best winner , and BMW's range estimates are easily achievable in this 396-hp dual-motor trim that manages 279 miles. It's one of the best new BMWs, especially because the gasoline-powered 4 Series Gran Coupe is so good. This lease includes the Park Assist package and metallic paint. If you want the most range, the rear-wheel-drive eDrive40 costs $499 per month at about the same contract signing rate.

2024 Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV

$899 per month / $9,593 at signing,
36 months/30,000 miles

This midsize SUV looks like a minivan and weighs more than a Ford F-150 pickup. It also has a spacious interior, huge screens and rear-wheel steering that gives this big Benz the turning circle of a much smaller vehicle. What's more, the 677-hp EQE SUV accelerates to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds, outpacing the gasoline-powered GLE63 S for half its lease price. That makes this AMG a real bargain. Driving a Mercedes this fast has never been this affordable.

Honda

Honda Civic Hybrid (2025)

$329 per month / $3,499 at signing,
36 months/30,000 miles

After a ten-year hiatus, the Civic sedan and hatchback offer hybrid power again. In our tests, the new one beats the Si to 60 mph and can comfortably cruise at 47 mpg on the highway in the next breath. The Sport Hybrid in this lease comes standard with heated front seats, dual-zone climate control and a sunroof, things not found on the gas-only LX and Sport. The Sport Touring Hybrid, for an additional $1,000 at signing and $20 per month, adds a Bose stereo, Google infotainment, wireless Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster and leather seats.

Kia

Kia Sorento Hybrid (2025)

$359 per month / $3,999 at signing,
24 months/20,000 miles

An SUV with three rows of seating doesn't get more affordable than this Kia, which now moves closer to the larger and more luxurious Telluride for 2025. Second-row captain's chairs, 19-inch wheels, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation, and a turbo four-cylinder are included. Choose between 24- or 36-month terms and front- or all-wheel drive. Contract payments are all the same, and the monthly price doesn't fluctuate by more than $30. Even better, Kia will lease the plug-in hybrid Sorento EX at no additional cost. Note though, that we measured 31 mpg in our testing, which is below the EPA Estimate.

Toyota

Toyota Highlander Hybrid (2024)

$599 per month/$3999 at signing,
36 months/30,000 miles

Although Highlander sales have been sluggish this year , the hybrid's 35 mpg and quiet, Lexus-like ride continue to delight Uber drivers. In fact, Toyota offers Uber drivers a discount on top of this XLE AWD lease. SUVs with three rows of seats are getting bigger, and the Highlander Hybrid is starting to feel small inside (especially compared to the cavernous Grand Highlander, which is also available as a performance-oriented hybrid). But durability and comfort are this Toyota's strong points, and with two years of included maintenance and Toyota's generally excellent reliability, this Highlander should be a worry-free proposition.

Lexus RX500h F Sport Performance (2024)

$689 per month / $4,999 at signing,
36 months/30,000 miles

Shorten the Highlander, remove the third row of seats and add a sprightlier 366-horsepower turbo engine with six gears, and that's the RX500h, although we found that Lexus more fast than sporty . At its core, any RX will always be a comfortable, well-equipped SUV with a roomy back seat. That's no problem—the RX range, which includes a plug-in hybrid, remains the best-selling luxury SUV year after year.

2024 Genesis electrified G80

$399 per month/$5,999 at signing,
13 months/13,000 miles

Yes, you read that right: This lease is for 13 months. Genesis really wants people to try out its fast and beautiful electric sedan. Presumably, after that, customers will be able to jump into a 2025 G80 model that gets a completely redesigned interior. While this electrified G80 doesn't have the major tech upgrades of the 2025 model, it's a visually impressive car and, at these prices, almost as affordable as the Civic Hybrid.

Ford

Ford Mustang Mach-E (2024)

$392 per month / $5,581 at signing,
36 months/30,000 miles

With the Mach-E Rally in the news, Ford is offering the slower, lower-clearance Premium for under $400 a month on Lease. The Mach-E is gaining momentum (sales are up 58 percent in the second quarter), and yet lease deals on it are extremely rare. Grab this model while you can. With the larger battery and all-wheel drive, this Mach-E has a 300-mile range.
